Welcome to the Board: Kevin Corbett

**August 2014** The University National Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin Corbett, President and CEO of the Kansas University Alumni Association, to its board of directors. Corbett joined the KU Alumni Association in 2004. As President and CEO, Corbett oversees a staff of 43 and dedicates his time to strengthening communication and relationships with KU graduates, former students, parents and friends of the university. “We are excited to have Kevin join the Board of The University National Bank,” said Bank President, Todd Sutherland. “His ties to the community will be invaluable to the bank and his record of achievement at the Alumni Association is unmatched. The Alumni Association has been revitalized under his leadership and is the envy of alumni groups nationwide.” A native of Norman, Okla., Corbett is a 1988 graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in psychology. He began his professional work with the KU Endowment Association in 1988, and has held positions at the University of Georgia in Athens, the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City, and Western State College of Colorado in Gunnison before returning to KU to serve in his alma mater. In addition to Corbett, The University National Bank board of directors includes nine additional members. Other members are Sam Campbell, president and chairman of CritiTech, Inc., Mike Flory, principal in May-Way Farms of Douglas County, Tim Fritzel, president of Gene Fritzel Construction Co., Monte Johnson, long-time Lawrence resident and businessman, Dolph Simmons, III, president and director of operations of the Lawrence Journal-World, Gary Sollars, long-time Lawrence resident and retired principal in HRH Willis insurance, Perry Sutherland, vice president of Sutherland Lumber, Todd Sutherland, president of The University National Bank, and Dick Zinn, attorney and partner at Barber Emerson, L.C..
